Georgia’s diplomatic missions and consular offices abroad
Georgia’s diplomatic missions and consular services abroad have the following responsibilities within the boundaries of their respective consular districts: issue Georgian visas and travel documents (Laissezpassers) to return to Georgia; provide consultations, legal protection, solicitation, consular legalization and registration, issue notary acts, etc. in addition, as a delegation function, diplomatic missions and consular offices register Georgian citizens, issue the identity certificates, and register civil acts.
